tanz*werk kassel e.V. is an association of dance professionals in Kassel dedicated to the promotion and visualisation of contemporary dance in the city's independent scene. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for an experienced and reliable person for the bookkeeping and possibly also the position of treasurer on a fee basis. If you would like to become part of a creative, interdisciplinary environment and enjoy supporting and helping to shape the financial processes of an important cultural institution, we look forward to receiving your application with the earliest possible starting date!
The areas of responsibility include

Managing the money and adhering to the budget

Proper management of the cash books

Preparation of financial reports and annual financial statements

Checking and accounting for receipts and invoices

Reporting on the financial situation of the organisation to the Executive Board and the General Assembly
-
Co-operation with the Executive Board, the tax consultant and project managers of various association projects
-
Storage of post and bank documents
-
Preparation of the financial section for where-used lists
Requirements:
-
Registered self-employment
-
Commercial training or equivalent skills
-
Several years of professional experience in association accounting
-
Knowledge of tax law
-
Sound knowledge of MS Office
-
Structured, conscientious, goal-orientated and independent way of working

Commitment, reliability and ability to work in a team
What you can expect:

EUR 433.00 per month can be charged (based on 4 hours per week at €25.00 each). Note: The position is also to be redesigned and further developed in consultation with the association and the Executive Board.
