Josefine Malakci ist eine zeitgenössische Tänzerin, Tanzvermittlerin und Choreographin aus Göttingen.
2020 schloss sie ihre Ausbildung in Tanzpädagogik, Choreographie und Performance in Leipzig ab. 2023 absolvierte sie ihr Bühnentanz-Diplom bei Sozo vim in Kassel.
Anschließend war sie als Tänzerin in Projekten in Belgien und Dänemark tätig und beschäftigte sich in einer künstlerische Residenz in Antalya mit dem Thema (Kulturelle) Identität und Zugehörigkeit.
Ihr Wissen zu Kultur und Gesellschaft aus ihrem Studium der Ethnologie und Soziologie (2018, Bachelor of Arts) fließt in ihre choreographische Arbeit mit ein. Ihre menschlichen und tänzerischen Interessen liegen in philosophischen und sozialpolitischen Themen wie Identität, Migration, Diaspora, kulturelle Dimensionen von Tanz, Natur/Nachhaltigkeit, Körper- und Raumgedächtnis, Machtverhältnisse sowie die vielseitigen Dimensionen von Zeit und Raum.
Sie arbeitet oft multi- und interdisziplinär z.B. mit Bildende und visuelle Kunst, Musik, Theater und Soziologie. Aktuell kollaboriert sie mit der klassischen Sängerin Ninon Demange zu Facetten von Identität und Menschsein. Ihre aktuellen Arbeiten befassen sich mit dem Themenspektrum von Identität und Migration und der Frage danach wie ein gesellschaftliches "Miteinander Sein und Leben" funktionieren kann das alle Menschen inkludiert. Ein weiterer Fokus liegt auf Umweltthemen und der Frage danach wie wir
im Einklang mit Tieren und Pflanzen leben können.
In der kulturellen Bildung arbeitet Josefine in Tanz- und Theaterprojekten mit Kindern und Jugendlichen, um ihnen den Zugang zu Kunstangeboten zu verschaffen mit dem Ziel ihre Selbstwirksamkeit zu stärken und kreative Zugänge zu persönlichen Themen zu erforschen.

Josefine Malakci is a contemporary dancer, dance educator and choreographer from Göttingen.
In 2020, she completed her training in dance education, choreography and performance in Leipzig. In 2023, she graduated with a degree in stage dance from Sozo vim in Kassel.
She then worked as a dancer in projects in Belgium and Denmark and explored the theme of (cultural) identity and belonging during an artistic residency in Antalya.
Her knowledge of culture and society from her studies in ethnology and sociology (2018, Bachelor of Arts) flows into her choreographic work. Her human and dance interests lie in philosophical and socio-political topics such as identity, migration, diaspora, cultural dimensions of dance, nature/sustainability, body and spatial memory, power relations, and the multifaceted dimensions of time and space.
She often works in a multi- and interdisciplinary manner, e.g. with fine and visual arts, music, theatre and sociology. She is currently collaborating with classical singer Ninon Demange on facets of identity and humanity. Her current work deals with the spectrum of identity and migration and the question of how a social ‘being and living together’ can function that includes all people. Another focus is on environmental issues and the question of how we
can live in harmony with animals and plants.
In cultural education, Josefine works on dance and theatre projects with children and young people to give them access to art programmes with the aim of strengthening their self-efficacy and exploring creative approaches to personal topics.
