"Ophelia - oder die Zeit ist aus den Fugen"
a performance walk.
The 1st temporary dance house of tanz*werk kassel follows in the footsteps of Lucius Burckhardt's Spaziergangswissenschaft. Starting at the Lac, the walk will lead along the watercourse. Spaziergangswissenschaft is a cultural-scientific and aesthetic method that aims to make us aware of and expand the conditions of our perception of our surroundings. Today, in the time of crisis and extreme environmental pollution, the walk "Ophelia - or time is out of joint" takes up this method and translates it into a moving side specific performance by means of dance, music and language.

I see something you don't see -
a moving and maddening workshop
How do we see? How do we perceive our surroundings? The workshop offers the opportunity to physically experience these questions in a moving form. Inspired by Lucius Burkhardt's "Spaziergangswissenschaften" - a cultural-scientific and aesthetic method that aims to make us aware of and expand the conditions of our perception of our surroundings - we will move improvisationally in the Bergpark in the workshop by means of perception-oriented tasks, expand our patterns of seeing and moving and experience our bodies in nature.
The workshop will be led by Agnetha Jaunich and Bettina Helmrich.
Please come in comfortable clothes and suitable shoes.
